But if you'd rather tuck into something with a little more flavor, in a place that feels more special than a mall foodcourt, then the Outer Banks have better options. If you're going for the biggest volume of seafood per dollar, this place might be for you. Specialty cocktails are mostly syrupy sweet - better to stick to your familiar drink of choice. The vegetables are cafeteria grade, as are desserts. I moved on to the mussels (not bad, but not special), an unmemorable broiled white fish, steamed shrimp (again, okay, but meh), fried oysters and scallops that were more breading than shellfish. legs are the big feature here, and people were loading up with them, but they've never been my favorite. The buffet line was thronged, the tables are slick and the room as bright as a laundromat.
